SWEDENS LEADING PATIENT ASSESSMENT SYSTEM
We at i-Balans are special needs assessment professionals, we help municipalities assess and digitize; for resources in balance with needs. To assist us, we have the market's best support needs assessment tool as well as our ICF-based method for efficient and detailed resource allocation.
THREE SIMPLE STEPS FOR PERFECT RESULTS The i-Balans method is structured in three steps
1. Needs assessment at individual and unit level leads to...
2. Overview of the needs and resources which gives the opportunity to...
3. Control, analysis and proposals for change or development.
SMART, POWERFUL, PRECISE OVERVIEW
i-Balans system precisely calculates the level of each individual's need for support, the care-centres total staffing needs, location and scope of various activities, etc. Everything is presented in charts, graphs, summaries, report templates and lists to simplify and provide a detailed overview.
"My mission is to help health and social care activities to focus on the core business – to put the individual's needs at the center when resources are to be allocated."
BUILT ACCORDING TO ICF
Created according to ICF (International Classification of Functioning, Disability and Health). The development of the method started 2007. In 2008 the method started to be used by care-centers in Sweden. Over the years several checks on reliability, efficiency and accuracy have been conducted.
i-Balans has been used in parallel with other support needs measurement instruments, with reliability and accuracy checked using timed measurement.
In order to optimize inter-reliability in the measurement, manuals have been developed to facilitate the level assessments.
We are looking for established health-tech companies and entrepreneurs in search of a scale able
patient assessment solution.
i-Balans offers a method and an online tool for detailed assessment of patients in hospice care for
elderly, psychiatry, special-needs child and adults in care-centres. i-Balans is ICF based and is applicable in any country
that practise WHOs ICF system to assess patients.
